3 Cardio Exercises At Home

Cardio exercise, it can be explained as any exercise that raises your heart rate. It means that any activity which make your heart rate speed up can be called a cardio exercise. This exercise also is a great way to lose weight. Most people do this exercise at the gym. However, if you don’t have time to go to the gym and prefer to do it at home, here 3 activities that you can do.

1. Jump Rope. What you need is a jump rope. It’s cheap, it’s only cost you a few dollars. To get the great workout, do the rope jumping for 20 to 30 minutes. For a better training, do 100 jumps as fast as you can then gradually decrease your speed.

2. Step Workout. You just need the bottom step of your stairs to perform this workout. If there any box in large size and sturdy, it also works. It’s very easy to do and still a good cardio exercise. Start by step up your right leg first. Repeat that for 12 times before you switch to your left leg. Repeat that moves repeatedly. If you get bored doing those after a while, change it by stepping sides to side.

3. Up and Down. This is another great exercise which you can do it easily at home without any equipment. First make yourself in standing position. After that, go down as quick as possible and do a push up. Then, return yourself to standing position quickly as you can and jump. Repeat these three steps continuously.

Although these exercise looks simple and there is no equipment used, it works very well for our cardiovascular system.
